Julie Carpenter is a graduate of Wisdom Flow Yoga Teacher Training. She is taking her wisdom off the mat and into the world with Yoga Horsemanship Retreats. Here’s more on Julie’s offering…
Have you ever been around someone so deeply connected to themselves and aligned with their being, that it calms you down? This is philosophy behind Julie Carpenter’s Yoga Horsemanship Retreats. Watching her yoga students leave the mat and step into the arena, Julie sees the calm clarity of the human steady the energy of the horse.
In these 5-day retreat sets in the beautiful rural foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, students become more connected to their own clarity and more present in the moment. This is the natural state of horses and when people find that some state of being, the connection is organic. And from this place of synergy the relationship between horse and rider really begins. People leave these retreats feeling open to new possibility in the relationship with horses and in all aspects of life.
In the evenings sharing healthy dinner on the redwood deck overlooking the pastures, students share their experiences of the day. This allows the teaching of yoga and horsemanship to gel deeply within in each person and forges strong connections that often turn into life long friendships.
Julie Carpenter has pursued her passion for horses for the last twenty years. Julie considers herself a student of the horse. She is committed to further defining and refining her skills as she continues to learn from the horses and her peers. Julie’s experience as a Certified Transformational Coach, Personal Empowerment Trainer, Yoga instructor and group facilitator continue to be invaluable aids in her horsemanship. Both her horsemanship and Life Coaching clients benefit from her keen desire to help people. She connects with each student in an atmosphere of positive energy, inspiration, clarity, enthusiasm and love. Her goal is to assist clients in identifying and developing their own inner strengths to more fully enjoy life.
