Enjoy a carefully-crafted mini workshop introducing the path of yoga, its history, and benefits. Yoga is now widely accepted as a tool for healing and maintaining optimal health. Through conscious movement with deep breathing, we can retrain our bodies back into optimal alignment so the pathway of the circulatory system and nervous system can flow uninterrupted. In addition to improving posture and joint alignment, Yoga also calms a compulsive mind. Often we forget that our minds are like tools. We should have mastery over them so we can use them to create a life the way we want it; a life that is creative, filled with healthy relationships and personal satisfaction. But like the body, the mind can fall into “misalignment” with habits of worry, negative prediction, and self criticism. Through focus on breath and asana (yoga postures) we train our mind to focus on beneficial, life-enhancing actions and naturally releases tendencies of worry and doubt. Reserve your Spot

You will learn to be more aware of the natural design of your body and how to adjust your posture to hold true to that fundamental architecture as you move through the world.
