But when our fitness program means having fun with friends, laughing, and moving to great music… Oh it gets easy to show up. That is the gift Jena Miller offers with her “Da Country Flavas” Zumba community. Jena is vibrant, kind, full of energy and an excellent teacher. She offers a wide variety of Zumba classes in our upcountry studio. Her classes have been growing steadily since she joined the studio last fall. If you’re an upcountry resident looking for fun festive fitness… You’ve found it. Here’s Jena’s story …

Jena-MillerOriginally raised in Lahaina; music, singing, and dancing have always been a part of my life. As a mother of two I was looking for a way to loose weight, and determined to get back the body I once had before I had my boys. Zumba dropped into my lap and I fell in love. As time progressed, I became a certified instructor. Then came a blessing in disguise; an opportunity to run my own a class in Pukalani. With prayer and support from friends and family I decided to take a chance. Today I’m proud to say, I’ve successfully been running my Zumba classes in Pukalani for two years. My classes have something to offer everyone who love a great workout accompanied by awesome “Move Your Body” music and choreography. Email Jena

cant-miss-zumbaIf you’re a dancer, even with two left feet, then Zumba is for you. No one is perfect, just keep moving. And don’t worry if you can’t get the moves on your first day. Like anything, it takes practice and consistency. You will get it, just don’t give up!

If you like a mix of dance and light weights, my mid-week Zumba Toning class is for you. It’s an infusion of dance and weights. Focus is on areas we as women, would love to firm up.

If you don’t dance at all but would prefer a H.I.I.T workout, then my Strong by Zumba class is for you. This music infused workout is an awesome class that uses your our own body weight and resistance to get strong. Email Jena
