Would you like a careful and complete introduction the path of yoga before diving into on-going classes? Would you like to learn how to use props to make your poses more beneficial your body? It is a wise choice to explore the foundations, origins and intentions of yoga before committing to a regular practice. In this 4-weekend series, new students are welcomed to the practice and given the tools to understand the science of yoga and prepare to receive its healing and empowering benefits.
For four weekends, students meet from 12:30-2:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Lessons are sequenced to build strength and understanding in layers. Each session ends with 10 minutes for questions and sharing personal experience. These classes are taught by senior staff at the studio. These teachers are dedicated to sharing the true path of yoga and bringing healing, strength and peace to community members.
